The Four-lettered election

Bertie has (at last) called the general election forMay 24. He’s pictured here writing the request for dissolution on the ceremonial sliotar that he had to puck through Mary McAleese’s bedroom window.

Sarcasm is doing well in the polls already. Top blogger turned angry satirical pollster Twenty Major has charted the election in characteristically colourful language and lays out the pitch from all parties here.
